John Isaac originally qualified as a Chartered Accountant after completing a Bachelor of Commerce degree at Auckland University in 1970.
He worked overseas and since returning to New Zealand in 1976, John has:
Worked for Tasti Products Ltd, a food manufacturer as its Company Secretary and Accountant.
Worked for Fay, Richwhite a Merchant Bank - involved in arranging finance.
Formed Realty Brokers Finance Ltd - involved in arranging finance.
Formed Broadway Financial Services Ltd - involved in arranging finance.
Formed Business Sales Ltd in 1987 - involved in all aspects of business sales and acquisitions. Qualified as a Licenced Real Estate principal agent.
Been an expert witness in Mediations/Arbitrations and in Court on business valuation disputes.
Formed Mediation & Arbitration Ltd in 2008 - involved in assisting parties to resolve disputes quickly & cost effectively by using alternative dispute resolution methods (ADR) such as mediation and arbitration without clients needing to use the litigation process in courts.
Completed a diploma in Dispute Resolution via Massey University
Been admitted as an associate member of AMINZ(Arbitrators & Mediators Institute of NZ) and also admitted as an accredited mediator by LEADR
Read widely on dispute resolution as well as written articles and given speeches on dispute resolution processes.
John has also been involved in the community over the years, firstly, as a past member of the Newmarket Rotary club (where he was a Director of several committees at both Club and District level) and secondly in coaching children's sport. His other interests, apart from his family include, golf, fishing and reading. John has been happily married for over 35 years and has two adult children.
